Let me to introduce myself—I'm Miguel Gomez. I was born in Texas and raised in Athens, GA. With a strong passion for numbers, I chose to pursue a career in the tax industry in 2010. I began working for a company where I gained invaluable experience that laid the foundation for my career. Driven by a desire to grow, I eventually took a leap of faith and invested in starting my own business. I initially started working under an umbrella organization and maintained that relationship for quite some time. The journey was challenging at first, requiring significant time, effort, and dedication. However, through perseverance and hard work, I’ve successfully built the business into what it is today.
In 2024, I decided it was time to rebrand and take the business in a new direction, I decided to embark on a new endeavor and take the next step in growing my business independently. This decision allowed me to have more control over the services we provide, enabling us to better serve our clients and align more closely with our values. And that is when Journey Tax Financial was established. The name "Journey" reflects the process of growth, learning, and overcoming challenges. It represents the path both our clients and our business take toward achieving financial success and stability. Just as every journey is unique, we recognize that each client's financial needs and goals are individual, and we are here to guide them every step of the way. This new chapter allowed me to build a business that reflects my vision of providing personalized, reliable, and professional financial services to our clients.
